CASA held its 5th annual fundraising gala on November 5, 2011 at the Loews Annapolis Hotel. 160 people attended this event, which boasted magnificent Moroccan décor, Moroccan-themed food and drinks, featured exciting live and silent auctions, and entertainment by dancers from the Maryland Performing Arts Center. Music was provided by The Satin Rhythm Band. The Annapolis Rotary Club received the CASA Community Leadership Award, TeleCommunication Systems, Inc. (TCS) was honored with the Corporate Commitment Award, and Robert G. Wallace was awarded the CASA Caring Heart Award. Overall, more than $55,000 was raised for CASA and the work they do for the most vulnerable in our community.
