Anne Arundel County CASA, Inc. Receives $10,000 Grant

A local organization that helps abused or neglected children recently received a $10,000 grant to expand programs.

Anne Arundel County CASA, Inc. (Court Appointed Special Advocates) received the grant from a partnership between National CASA Assn. and Jewelers for Children, the leading charity of the U.S. jewelers industry.

Anne Arundel County CASA, Inc. (AACCASA), a private, non-profit organization, is committed to advocating for and supporting abused and neglected children who are involved in juvenile court proceedings to ensure their right to safe, stable and permanent homes as quickly as possible. Trained volunteers (CASAs) from throughout the County represent the best interest of these vulnerable children within the welfare system.
